Trash on the curb strip. This has happened repeatedly. I've spoken to the person who puts the trash there. He claims that his uncle works for Public Works and picks the junk up for him, but the junk stays out there for weeks before it's removed.

Bed springs on the curb strip. I talked to the superintendent of the building. The trash company won't let him put the springs in the dumpster, so he puts them on the curb strip, making the neighborhood look bad.

There are three dead trees in Monitor Square. Two are inside the railing--an old cherry and a young one. There's also a dead purple plum on the curb strip outside the railing. All of them are on the Derby Ave side.

This drum was left behind when some construction work was finished. Now it's overflowing with trash.
