Of course Parks uses SCF. That's why the list of categories includes "Parks Request."

The existence of the category is not the same as action. Parks administrators told me they don't use it.

That hasn't been my experience. I've had Parks administrators respond to issues I've reported. Here's an example:

Thanks for reporting. Thanks to the efforts of Friends of East Rock Park and funding from REI the repairs to the giant steps will be addressed this summer.

Please note - while some requests are not acknowledged or closed we are working to address the backlog and reporting. As we don't have clerical staff for our maintenance division and our field workers do not have assigned cells often times work is completed without closing the loop.

While you repair the steps can you do something about the almost non existent railings? Mostly gone or loose?
Difficult to go up without railings to hold onto....Extremely dangerous attempting to descend.

The giant steps were recently remediated.
